Papworth Everard News

Can Your readers help me please?

To The Newsletter: Ref my late parents Leo & Evelyn Jennings. Can any residents help me locate their finally resting place after 40 years of searching.

Both my late parents lived at Papworth which my husband and I recently visited. My father Leo Jennings died of TB around about 1950-58 I think he lived around Pendragon Hill possibly Ridgeway numbers 23/29?. My mother was Evelyn Jennings (nee Lanigan) who died in hospital due to problems with blood type transfusions. I was taken into care aged about 5 years of age. We were a biggish family catholics comprising of Silvia, Margaret, Michael, Dennis, Mary and myself Maureen.

Apparently, my sister Margaret (deceased) used to be friendly with a Susan Baker, I remember as young as I was, visiting Kisby Hut for different stuff. I remember Pendragon School. We talked some of you kind locals, who suggested I contact local Historian Peter Pattle and the local Catholic church which we are searching for. Any help you dear readers can shed on this matter would be warmly received. Please contact me on the following email address johnsplace810@hotmail.co.uk (again, thank you mrs.m.wallace (nee Jennings)
